ACTCA membership is open to career development practitioners, school staff, industry stakeholders and individuals interested in connecting with the career development industry in the ACT and Capital region.

Member Categories
PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIP
ACTCA Professional Membership is available to career practitioners who have completed a minimum of a Graduate Certificate in Career Development with a CICA endorsed course provider.
Professional members are required to annually meet CICA’s Professional Standards
Professional career practitioner status may also be gained through the ACTCA’s Alternative Pathway.

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP
ACTCA Associate Membership is available to careers practitioners who have completed a minimum of a Certificate IV in Career Development with a CICA endorsed course provider.
Associate members are required to annually meet CICCA’s Professional Standards
Associate career practitioner status may also be gained through the ACTCA’s Alternative Pathway.

COLLEGIAL MEMBERSHIP
ACTCA Collegial Membership is available to individuals who do not hold a CICA endorsed career qualification and wish to be involved in the local careers industry and network.
Collegial members are not recognised as career practitioners and are not required to meet
CICA’s Professional
Standards.
Collegial members abide by the ACTCA’s rules and Code of Conduct.

INDUSTRY MEMBERSHIP
ACTCA Industry Membership is available to education, training, business and other organisations that support the vision, purpose and goals of the ACTCA.
Industry members are not required to meet CICA’s Professional Standards. Industry members abide by the ACTCA’s Rules and Code of Conduct.
